I just wanted to let you know about my most recent experience with a grant, which was absolutely fantastic. I contacted the grant office by sending an email on a Sunday evening and received almost an immediate response (which I was very surprised about since it was Sunday). However, that just set the tone for the entire time we worked together. It was my first time writing a grant, and the deadline was about 9 days after I first contacted her. She provided tremendous feedback and put a lot of hard work into organizing the grant, editing it and getting the right team members involved to ensure we could complete it before the deadline.
